Malta is a country where the sun shines 300 days a year, the average temperature is 18 degrees Celsius, and the summer season lasts 8 months. The Maltese archipelago offers romantic beaches with heavenly views, as well as a place full of historical buildings that have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Malta Tourism Authority Visit Malta (MTA) is a governmental organization that promotes tourism in the Maltese Islands and advises on the planning and development of the tourism industry. It works with both the public and private sectors, ensuring the highest standards of tourism products created. MTA has opened overseas representative offices in more than a dozen countries around the world, promoting Maltese tourism in other domestic markets. From November 30, 2022, it also has its official office in Warsaw.

Among others, MTA promotes cultural, active, business/MICE, family, religious, or language (EFL - English as a foreign language) tourism. MTA focuses on the promotion of short breaks and weekend trips, both among couples, families, and groups of friends.

The Maltese Islands are the three main inhabited islands of Malta, Gozo, and Comino, which are famous for their magnificently preserved temples, palaces, and fortifications, witnesses to a rich past history. Malta was a British colony for more than 100 years. This makes the Maltese Islands an ideal place to learn the language (English, along with Maltese, is the official language). The country's culture, heritage, and cuisine also show numerous Italian, Arabic, or French influences. It is interesting to note that Malta has the highest number of objects of historical and cultural value per 1 km² in the world. The country's small size means that all the attractions are within easy reach. Malta has also beautiful nature: picturesque landscapes, sandy beaches, and crystal clear water - perfect for lovers of active pursuits. Every year Malta ranks high in international rankings of the best diving destinations. You can fly directly to Malta from 7 airports in Poland.
