Zwrotnik Festival - Michał Cessanis: Japan. On the Way to the Sacred Mount Fuji
During his lecture, Michał Cessanis will take the participants of the Zwrotnik Festival on an extraordinary journey through Japan – a country where tradition and modernity blend in harmonious ways, and where everyday life can captivate with its simplicity and the beauty of the moment.

Michał Cessanis set out for Japan in the autumn to discover its atmosphere and colors in the unhurried rhythm of haiku.
He traveled by high-speed train from Tokyo to Osaka, then to Kyoto and Odawara, finally reaching the sacred Mount Fuji – a place the Japanese call “the most beautiful view in the world.”
From this journey, he brought back stories full of reflection, peace, and inspiration, as well as memories of mindful encounters with the world and the beauty of moments as fleeting as haiku.
His talk will be a story about Japan seen through the eyes of a Polish journalist and traveler – about a country of contrasts, spirituality, and everyday wonders.
Michał Cessanis – journalist, traveler, managing editor of National Geographic Traveler, host of the travel program Do zobaczenia (“See You”) on TVN and TVN Style, and author of the books Tales from Five Corners of the World and Made in China, both published by National Geographic Poland.
