Summary of the ITTF Warsaw 2024 International Travel & Tourism Fair
The ITTF Warsaw International Travel & Tourism Fair has become a global tourism center for the second time, gathering industry leaders, experts and travel enthusiasts from all over the world. The event took place on November 21–23, 2024 at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.
200 exhibitors from 29 countries participated in the fair, the partner country of the fair was Bulgaria. The second edition of ITTF Warsaw was attended by 6,500 professional visitors, of which 90% were representatives of the Polish market and 10% were foreign guests. The presence of 120 representatives of the diplomatic corps from 65 countries emphasized the international prestige of the fair. The exhibitors included representatives of key sectors of the tourism industry, such as national and regional tourism organizations, travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation facility operators, transport representatives, travel agents, insurance companies and industry organizations.
During the opening ceremony of the fair, the prestigious Acanthus Aureus awards were presented, awarded by the MTP Group competition jury. These awards go to exhibitors who best understand how modern expo marketing supports building a brand's image and increases its business value. The winners included stands from Bulgaria, Turkey, Egypt, Itaka, Coral Travel Poland, Rainbow and Mazowsze, each of the awarded stands impressed with the originality of the concept and professionalism of execution.
This year's edition of the fair was distinguished by a wide range of topics important for the tourism industry. The program prepared by the co-organizer of the fair, the Polish Chamber of Tourism, included 12 discussion panels and workshops that touched on such issues as: trends in business travel, the impact of artificial intelligence on automation and analytics processes, carbon neutrality strategies in travel management and modern technologies supporting tour operators and travel agents. The issues of dynamic packaging of offers, tax transformation and implementation of new regulations were also discussed. In total, nearly 650 participants took part. Additionally, 3 press conferences and 6 business presentations were held with the participation of 80 media representatives.
The fair is primarily a presentation of the offers of our exhibitors, who were well prepared, allowing guests to directly experience the culture and traditions of individual regions. National stands offered tastings of local specialties, culinary workshops, artistic performances and multimedia presentations, which effectively engaged participants and strengthened their interest in the exhibitors' offers.
A novelty of this edition was a meeting scheduling program, which enabled exhibitors and visitors to plan and conduct business meetings. The implementation of the system resulted in the scheduling of over 600 meetings, supporting the effective exchange of contacts and establishing new partnerships.
The ITTF Warsaw International Tourism Fair has once again confirmed its position as one of the most important industry events in Central and Eastern Europe. A comprehensive program, innovative solutions and a unique atmosphere attracted key players of the tourism market, young professionals and travel enthusiasts. The event created a space for inspiration, knowledge exchange and business development in a dynamically changing industry.
The next edition of the ITTF Warsaw International Travel & Tourism Fair will be held on November 20-23, 2025 at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.
