ITTF Warsaw Tourism Fair. Itaka: Visitors will feel like they are on vacation
The tourism industry is already counting down the days until the ITTF Warsaw International Tourism Fair. One of the leading exhibitors will be the Itaka travel agency. The tour operator is preparing a surprise with Energylandia. - You will feel like you are on vacation - announces vice-president Piotr Henicz.
On November 21, the second International Tourism Fair ITTF Warsaw will begin at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. The organizers - Poznań International Fair and the Polish Chamber of Tourism - announce the largest event of this type in the country. Among the several hundred exhibitors there will be travel agencies, countries, regions, cities, tourist attractions, carriers, hotels and health resorts. The three days of the event will be filled with conferences, panels, shows and presentations - on the first day only for professionals, and on the second and third for all interested parties. The partner country of the event is Bulgaria.
Among the exhibitors will be the largest Polish travel agency, Itaka.
Vice-president of the Itaka travel agency, Piotr Henicz:
- From the very beginning, when the idea of continuing the tourism fair at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, suspended during the pandemic, was born, I believed in the success of this event. I was convinced that it would be included in the calendar of professionals in our industry and people looking for inspiration to travel and relax.
The first ITTF fair in 2023 confirmed the need for such an event in Warsaw. Fairs are a form of integration of our environment. Several hundred thousand people work in tourism in Poland and after the difficult Covid times, we really need such integration. Therefore, we enjoy the opportunity for direct meetings and conversations.
The fair is undoubtedly a celebration of the entire industry, and the Palace of Culture and Science in the center of Warsaw has been well associated for many years as a place for such meetings. I think it is also an important event for the public, including clients of travel agencies, who will have the opportunity to talk directly to our employees. Visitors to the ITTF fair will be able to obtain information about our rich and diversified offer right from the source. This is probably the only opportunity of this year.
We live in times of rapid development of digital technology. Remote communication devices play an increasingly important role in our work and everyday life. To maintain balance, it is worth using the opportunity for direct conversations, spontaneous discussions and exchange of experiences. ITTF is such a forum.
I can say from my own experience that although online reservations are growing dynamically in Itaka, there is also a dynamic increase in the number of customers who do not give up visiting stationary sales points. In response to this interest, we are opening more and more showrooms. If someone wants to buy a trip directly, after talking to a consultant, they can do so. Participation in trade fairs is part of this policy - we use the opportunity to show how we operate, answer all questions and explain everything calmly.
We encourage you to visit us with your entire family. For years, Itaka has been co-creating activity programs with Energylandia, which are then conducted for our clients by animators in hotels around the world. During the ITTF fair, they will give a sample of their skills and show what classes at Ithaka Friends Clubs look like. Fair guests will be able to see what awaits them during their next holidays with Itaka.
Fairs function well all over the world, and Itaka is always present at the most important ones - in Madrid, London, Milan, Berlin. And we always come back enriched with new contacts, contracts and information. It is similar in Warsaw - I am convinced that the combination of the efforts of experienced partners, such as the Poznań International Fair and the economic self-government of the tourism industry in the form of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, guarantees that the time spent at ITTF will not be wasted.
