Greek National Tourist Organization (GNTO) is a public entity directly subordinate to the Greek Ministry of Tourism, responsible for promotion of Greece as a tourism destination. Its role is to encourage travelers to visit and explore the country and help increase awareness for Greece. GNTO achieves its basic goals by participating in tourism fairs, exhibitions and events directly and indirectly related to tourism, as well as through extensive advertising campaigns.
